Video-DVD & Drive
Videotape won’t last forever. A wedding taped 20 years ago is starting to look a little blurry and the colors are beginning to fade. Don’t lose your precious memories. Once converted to a digital format, you effectively have stopped the loss of video quality. At Digital Archives, we will work with you to organize and combine your VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, 8mm video and mini DV tapes on to as few discs as possible, while still maintaining the highest quality. Each tape put on DVD will have its own chapter on the menu for easy access and can then be copied to a USB Drive or an External Hard Drive
Film-DVD or Hard Drive
So many families recorded special events on film and when their projectors no longer worked, the film was stored in a box in the basement or attic and forgotten. Digital Archives has the latest frame-capture technology, so we are able to provide our customers with the very best flicker-free transfer in the Bluegrass. Your 8mm, super 8 and 16mm will be cleaned and conditioned prior to transfer and returned to you intact.
Audio to Hard Drive or CD
Transferring Audio is just as important when archiving your family’s history. We can transfer your audio cassettes, microcassettes and LP’s to CD and then can make you as many copies of that CD that you may need. Audio can also go directly to a drive as MP3 files. Audio editing may also be incorporated in your film or video transfer, customizing that Video to the exact mood you desire.
Photo and Slide
TransferWe guarantee to leave them laughing and crying with our custom photo montages. You bring in the pictures and music and we will do the rest. The perfect gift for any occasion, our slide shows can be shown at birthday parties, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners to groups of people or playing on a loop quietly in a corner creating a conversation area.
Editing
If you want to be the director and call the shots, Digital Archives has a chair for you. Using the latest non-linear editing software, you can edit any of your home movies into a masterpiece. Our editor will sit with you and construct a custom DVD to your exact specifications. This is an appointment service, which allows us to give you our undivided attention.
